Star Crash® is a women's themed sci fi, produced to appear as a "live to video" soap opera television series. Women take over the universe, as the galaxies collide, but do they handle power differently? Or are they corrupted by the same influences and temptations?
We have just completed editing the new episode of Star Crash® and it is currently being distributed to the tv stations. For air times, see our Facebook posts at the link below. You can also see Star Crash® at the vimeo link below. We will also be entering the current Star Crash® in film competitions. Historically, in 2017, we had a great year for Star Crash®! The London Film Awards selected Star Crash® as "Best Television Pilot" in their international competition; additionally by a different competition in U.K., The London International Film Festival selected Star Crash® for their film festival in London, UK; Judges from the North American Film Awards selected Star Crash® for a Bronze award. The production also won several Telly Awards most recently in 2017 and earlier in 2015. Star Crash® had also been selected for the Women's Only Entertainment Film Festival for 2017. Additionally, in December 2017, Star Crash® won the DCTV "Voice Award" for Entertainment in Washington, D.C. In 2018, Star Crash® was selected for the International Film Festival of World Cinema in London, and most recently, the show was selected for the Montreal Independent Film Festival-2020. The Star Crash® Women's Sci Fi television series is partially produced at Arlington Independent Media (AIM) in Arlington, Virginia. It is aired and video-streamed on world wide web by AIM, as well as DCTV in Washington, DC; the Manhattan Neighborhood Network in New York City, Community TV stations in the New York Capital District of Albany and Schenectady, People TV in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as other community tv stations around the country. The show has been on the air since 1995 and continues to be produced via AIM studios and streamed via various television stations. Air and web-streaming dates are posted on our Facebook site for current episodes pursuant to submission to the above cited stations and we receive their schedule information. Because of web streaming by the stations, the show is now view-able internationally via computer.
The producer and author Edie Meyers wishes to thank the technical crew Cam Pippitt, Erik Morrison, Heff Munson, Mary Fantuccio, Paul Mahood, and the rest of the cast and crew of Star Crash® for their magnificent support over the years. Also the show is now being shot in HD (High Definition) due to the AIM studio being completely updated with the latest technology.
